1915VGB- Miraphone BBb 191 5 valve gold brass- 1st one ever made and love it

My son Sean 13, plays a 1915VGB as well and uses a Doug Elliott R cup with a R5E shank and a 128 2N gold rim.

My mouthpieces in order of use that I use are:

Doug Elliott heavyweight T cup, T5E, T6E & T7E shanks, 128 2N, 130 2N & 132 2N gold rims. I use different combinations for quintet, and to change sound from brighter to darker when I need the difference. Use the smaller shank and smaller rims for quintet and when I have to do extended upper register work. This mouthpiece, shanks and rims give me alot of flexibility in choice of color and syle for playing.

1978 Conn Helleberg with the throat opened up to 23/64. This has been replated 4 times and ready for another.

Miraphone Eb/F mouthpiece
Miraphone solo
Miraphone C4

I have had these 3 mouthpieces since 1971 nd 1972.
