They have ratings in gauss on the site for some of them. There is one listed on the site that they will not even sell to the general public because it is too strong and would be dangerous to handle. I just ordered two of the item number 5 magnets. They are a rectangle shape and will lift over 100 pounds each. I also bought a .75 sphere magnet. I think you need bigger dent balls for it to work well though. I have a friend that has some. I think that is the key to success is the right dent ball. I still maintain that it would work just as good as the kit if you can find these items on your own and save hundreds of dollars.
