It absolutely is a pathetic story...that's my point. I thought my dripping sarcasm would be obvious. I know the difference between a Gronitz and a St. P., but he assumed I didn't. Or perhaps he knew I did, but he's just finally reached a point where he can't stop himself?
I was just amazed he would try to steer any caller for a 6/4 Gronitz into a St. P.
What do we make of a dealer who would tell a caller to expect the St. Pete to sound like a Gronitz 6/4? I wonder... if I had inquired about a YFB 621, would I have been told that I should try a St.P. if I really liked that clear upper register sound? Any votes? Shoot, that should be it's own post...let's vote.
