Is the Getzen G-50 anywhere close to the York Master, when it come to contrabass tuba qualities?

And here I am not thinking of soloistic potential, but of potential for providing dark, full, intense ensemble foundation. And the potential to provide a tight framework of well balanced and non-edgy overtones, that immediately makes a less than top-notch ensemble improve in sound, balance, and intonation, when such foundation is introduced?

And I am fully aware of the flip-side of the ideal, that I find the York Master (and even more the Conn 40K) are representing: if one as the sole tubist has to push the tempo of a lazy band, then it drains ones physical reserves with a speed of more than atlethical dimensions. In that case a bass guitar plucked close to the bridge is much more effective.
