Also, when talking to really good instrument tech's I have been told when oiling rotors, you need to use two kinds of oil. The thicker rotor oil on the outside linkages and the contact points at the posts. Then you use a good light valve oil (like Al Cass) on the inside by squirting it down either the fifth valve tuning slide or the leadpipe and working it back and forth to seal up the rotor surfaces. The amount of space is VERY small between the inside valve surface and the casing so heavier oil trends to slow the rotors down.
