I am from Lorain, Ohio (about twenty mins from Oberlin). I played in their wind ensemble while I was in high school and got to know the scene pretty well. Mr. Bishop is a great guy and will be a good person for you to work with, but make sure you get to know the place well before you decide to go there. It is a strange town but Cleveland is nearby. All I can tell you is that I went to CCM instead.
