Your approval or lack thereof does not negate this clipping as someone's art. I am not advocating that it should be hung in all of our homes, but this work displays the emotion of one artist who happens to have been funded by the governemnt.
Having said that, I do also believe that this governemnt funded work should be subject to some system of accountability...that is, since it is funded by tax payers, a sort od referendum of tax payers should decided on the worth of the piece. Although, if this system were in place, think of the art that history would have lost.
I do'nt really know where I was going with this..
