I am in the same situation with F tubas. The thing I've learned is...TRY THEM YOURSELF!!! everyone will try to push their own instrument because thats what they feel is the superior istrument. I have been playing on my PT-4 for 5 years now, but the way I play is nothing like the way you play. You really have to try each horn yourself because ultimately, you have to please your self with the horn you are playing.
