Its a combination of resistance (compared to my F, that I usually have just set down before trying out a Willson EEb) and the physical sensation of picking up the instrument, which is heavy. Again, The Willson EEb is a great instrument, and I could see how it could quickly become a comfortable old pair of shoes.
