I've played with them in this hall about five times already and attended one of their concerts as a patron.
At $100,000,000 it's terribly overbudget and terribly overdue. (They tore down the existing hall and built this new one in the same spot. The orchestra has been playing in a converted church sanctuary now for quite a few years, cutting patronage at the knees.) Hopefully, this gorgeous (looking and sounding) hall will give them a boost, though I'm bracing for another property tax increase. (The old hall actually wasn't that bad, and ironically they had just purchased a wonderful new shell and superb new seats then they tore it down.)
