I've recently switched euphonium mouthpieces from a Schilke 51D to a Yamaha Hokazono "SH Special" mouthpiece (also known as the 53H). While I really like the new mp in my Yamaha euphonium, it presented me with a problem as my Willson 2900 has a european shank adapter and the Yamaha mp is only available in large shank. My solution was to remove the european shank receiver and replace it with a large shank receiver. Todd Clontz did the conversion for me...he did a beautiful job and it looks like it came with the instrument. Too bad that the horn is still a dog. It was improved slightly, but it is still miles apart from my good horn in tone quality.
So I obviously have no use for the original receiver that was removed. It in good condition and I'm looking for $5 plus $3-4 for shipping.
