I use a Wick 2 (not the L) on my small shank antique BBb. The cup is the same as the 2L, but it has the smaller, European, shank. I think that in all other ways it is the same. I find it very similar to my Dillon H2 (their Conn Helleberg sized mouthpiece with a more rounded rim) in playing characteristics. I find it a good all around mouthpiece. I can slot well with it and can comfortably play at both the upper and lower limits of my range, which isn't saying much. I tried the 1, which I found too large, and the 3, which works well for my old eefer, but I find too small for my BBb.
