What are the legal downfalls of writing your own version of an accompaniment for a standard, or even not so standard piece? Maybe re-arranging a string accomp for a brass band, or writing your own for a Rochut. Keep in mind this would be for a student recital, so no money would be gained from the performance of this piece.
