Here's my schedule with the Symphony this week:
tonight: rehearse Espaņa first up...7:30 (ten minutes, max)
tomorrow: ' not rehearsing Espaņa , no tuba on other pieces...STAY HOME
next night: ' not rehearsing Espaņa , no tuba on other pieces...STAY HOME
dress rehearsal: rehearse Espaņa first up...7:30 (ten minutes, max)
Saturday show: show up about ten minutes before the end of the concert and play Espaņa
Sunday matinee: show up about ten minutes before the end of the concert and play Espaņa

I'm getting paid the same as all the fiddlers who are sawing their hearts out. I think this is a diabolical plot to destroy my embouchure - through lack of use - and eventually replace me - since I won't have any chops.
Should I go on strike like the "big boys" are doing?
