Hello all! I have just been appointed to play in the Huntington Brass Quintet here in Boston and we do a lot of playing standing up. My horn (F) is not really playable standing up (without a harness), since I really need both of my hands to play it. Also, the instrument doesn't have any rings or such to hook anything onto... I would like to find something to wrap around one of my bottom bows, or something like that. (It's best not to put that much strain on the braces, right?) Does anybody have experience with harnesses or straps? Are they available to buy? Do you just jimmy-rig them? What's the scoop?
