You don't mention what type of mic yu are using. Mic selection is very important. In general the closer the mic is to the bell the less room sound (reverb) yo will get and the further away the mic is the more room sound you will get. Experiment to get something you like. If possible try to get to a bigger room. E-mail me for more information.
