How does one know which of those many tubes is safe to grab on to to pick up a tuba? How do you avoid indavertently bending the tube, putting tension on the valves, or worse...breaking the dang thing.
I have yet to see any manufacturer provide instructions on how to pick up their horns. Sounds pretty elementary and stupid, I know.
