Find a very good repair person and have him/her polish the valves on a buffing machine.  Note I didn't say lap, but rather polish (there is no heavy handed buffing here, just a good shining which will remove any of the imperfections left at the ports).  After polishing the valves, clean them real well with soap and water.  I then tried all the valve oils I had, 12 or so different brands.  I found the best oil was FAT CAT.  It doesn't evaporate like the Blue Juice and is very slippery.
