It will be extremely difficult to get all of the slides, so just get the viewable ones. Save the rest for when you decide to get it chemically cleaned. Also, be careful about polishing near the saudered(please excuse the spelling) sections because some of the polish can build up if you don't clean in away completely. The polish will eventually wear away at the saudering. Take care of your horn and have fun playing. Those Conns are good horns. I have a polished silver 56j myself.
