Lee Stofer has been importing a biggish (bigger than the Weril or the Yamaha 621) 3/4-size BBb rotary tuba made by Josef Lidl. It is well made, sturdy, and it plays well. It has a bit of resistance which is good for young players. It's also quite reasonably priced.
