Are you sure it is Marathana? The reason that I ask is because that word does not appear in the Bible. I did, however, come close. "Maranatha" (Greek: mu-alpha-rho-alpha-nu-alpha-theta-alpha...hmmminteresting an alpha after every consonant?) does appear in the Greek Bible in 1 Cor 16:22 and it means "our Lord come". An educated guess would conclude that this was the literati on in mind.
