Well, the most infamous debate....ever. My only suggestion would be.... Money tends to dictate the horn you purchase. If you have unlimited funds (lucky you) then there are probably more "top quality" CC horns out there. However if you are thinking more economically, then a BBb may be your best bet. If you can spend only $4,000...then you will find many more excellent BBb tubas in the range, and probabl not many CC's unless you come across a great used one.
Being someone who plays both BBb and CC on a regular basis (dont ask why) I think that you also need to fnd what fits you. If you are looking for a Orchestra career, perhaps the CC would be a better choice, since it is considered the standard (not to be mistaken for "better") Just some things to consider.
