If you're willing to try another mouthpiece, I would suggest trying a Denis Wick mpc. They are usually sharp. One that's fairly close to the 6 1/2 would be a 6BY (if I remember right). Just a suggestion. I know my Wick 5 AL causes my horn to play sharp and two other euphers I know have the same results with a Wick.
