I'm not really surprised at this. Addicts will generally steal anything, including dirty underwear (actually happened). While it is true that it would be foolish for any thief worth their salt to pass on the sousaphones, I doubt the perpetrators actually thought this through. Lets face it, Las Vegas has a severe drug problem and enough junkies that are stupid enough to steal a sousaphone. I bet its going to look really funny when the crackheads bring four sousaphones into their local pawn shop.
