I just installed (at another's advice) a smaller-taper mouthpipe on Matt Good's 2165.
I (thoughtlessly) didn't play it "before" (Admittedly, I was trying to get him back in his car and on his way home to Dallas.) but the "after" was quite nice...
...much easier to focus than 2165's I've played at tuba shows (whoops!... "conferences") in the past.
