I believe the Musica 2301 is identical to the VMI tubas being used by my local high school. They have been well received. I wouldn't want to carry a full band/orchestra with just one - but they're perfectly adequate in a section.
Nice tone; nice even scale; appear to be well constructed - but definitely a SMALL 4/4.
