For more info on John Fletcher check out the book, "A Celebration, John Fletcher - Tuba Extraordinary", compiled and edited by Philip Jones, Published by the John Fletcher Trust. Also, for those who are interested, Brian Frederiksen is going to be presenting his wonderful tribute to Arnold Jacobs at the ITEA Regional Conference at TCU, Fort Worth, TX in May. Additionally, Harvey Phillips is going to also be at the conference and will give a fascinating lecture on history and future of the tuba, his career and I'm sure much info on many of our great players from the past. This would be a terrific way to get answers to these questions straight from the horse's mouth!
