I'm still working on my paper for my english class and I am moving in a technical direction. (the form of my paper is a research paper that argues an opinion)
The information I am trying to find is how certain metals affect the sound and resonation differently in tubas. I'm trying to go from an aspect of what I consider to be my ideal orchestral tuba. I am mostly concerned about contrasting silver and brass but I know nickel is another popular one. I can use internet sources for the paper and if anyone has a link to a page like this or knows a book or anything, I will greatly appreciate it!
