I know where you're comin from, but believe me it's possible to go to music school and pay for it yourself. My dad makes enough money where I don't really qualify for financial aid, but, unfortunatley, my mom had cancer for a while. To make a long story short, my parent's don't have the money to help me with school.
The sacrifice you will have to make is you may have to get some student loans to make this happen. Besides, if you are as good as your teacher says you are you should have no problem getting a scholarship to help with the tuition costs.
