I'll second Band-in-a-Box. The rhythm section sound is pretty lame, but you get to input your own changes (all you need's a fake book), your own alterations, your own tempos (good for learning uptempo tunes), and repeat the forms as many times as you want. You can create your own exercises, too. I didn't start using it until last year, but now I use it a lot. Good luck!
