S/N = 954197, Say Olds, O-99, Fulerton CA on bell.

From the lists I see:
950000 April 1976
970000 Sept. 1976

Looks about how I expected. Sounds OK to me. My range is limited, and I didn't use a tuner yet. Still, played lower than I can get on the big Besson horns, and the highs were easier.

Needs some dents taken out in the outer wrap of tubing. Hope to find a place with The Conn "Dent Eraser" or other magenet+ball system. No worth paying to have it unsoldered to fix them.

Water keys (spit valves) have been resoldered, and the laquer discolered.
The thumb ring was moved way too far for me, need to get it moved.
Wouldn't hurt to have the valves replated. But what's that gonna cost?

The biggest issue is the lead pipe. It's loose at the bell, and had a lot of poor work done on it. One spot looks like J.B. Weld.

Any idea what it "should" cost to replace the lead pipe, or move the thumb ring?
