If this is a project horn, how about a Willson thumbring--you could tow a boat with it--it's attached via a bolt that goes through a slot in a 1/4" hunk of brass that's soldered to the horn.
Or why not build your own? The ring is child's play to machine up on a small lathe and you need only braze it to a bit of sheet brass.
