What I do is always name the notes in concert pitch, and ignore what the names are "supposed" to be. That is, if I'm reading a clef and the note on the 3rd line "sounds" as an A, I call it an A. And do that with the entire clef. The only "translation" that has to occur is if I have to talk to the conductor, and then I slyly just ask about "what concert pitch do we have 3 measure after letter S?" And they have never had a problem with that.
