There is not a set fee for fixing damaged pistons. Simple replating might be $30 per piston. If the piston is more than a couple of thousanths of an inch undersized or out of round, it's going to cost more. The price depends totally on how much time the plater has to spend fixing the problem.
There is an off-hand chance the piston can be put into 'playing' condition without sending it off to the plater, but if the casing is out of round, you're out of luck. Take it to a repair tech first as it is virtually impossible to evaluate the condition of a valve/piston via emails or photos.
