as you know, there's a division of opinion on drum corps. And, her summer plans are for an orchestral festival (depending on where she gets in).
All of her trumpet teachers have strong negative views on marching in general for classical players, and drum corps especially. Can't say its been recommended by any of the conservatories she's interested in, either.
