The previous posters are right on target with regard to the need to develop style. I don't know what level musicians you are dealing with but there is one little book that we started out with that contains some fairly easy-to-read Dixieland favorites. It's called Dixieland Beat by Hal Leonard. The H-L arrangements also include a tenor sax part. Played as written the arrangements are pretty square but after a bit of practice on your own style you can easily schmaltz 'em up to sound pretty good. It's a place to start, anyeay.
