The listening has always given me fits.
Perhaps it what I've listened to, which I love the sound of, but I never have been able to follow it well. Most of the stuff seams really busy, and I always get lost trying to follow one instrument. So while trying to follow the Tbone, suddendly the trumpet and clarinet grab my attention and I completely lose track.
As a listener it's great, lots of interesting bits comming in and out all the way through. But trying to figure out how it's all working is another story.
And recommended recordings to help with that? Stuff that is easier to digest.
