Ken, I feel your pain concerning the "Old Dogs" syndrome. I have a Buescher 3/4 sized 3-valved B-flat horn I've got for sale for $600. The smaller size and bore makes for some tuning issues, you've got to listen and adjust by lipping up or down as well as using the few alternate fingerings that this horn allows. The valves also need to be re-plated but there doesn't seem to be any repairman in my area willing to touch this horn for less than $1700. The valves stick unless you clean them very thoroughly and regularly.
