You should probably add "...and use Eb BC fingerings", which under the "add three flats and read as BC" scheme turn out to be TC trumpet fingerings. Neat part is that you can also read BBb TC tuba parts without changing a thing; just use the same Eb fingerings. Same goes for baritone TC.

The British TC system actually makes a lot of sense when you think about it; one set of fingerings for everything (except the bass bone, but you don't "finger" that anyway!). Seems that the only people who suffer are those gifted/cursed with absolute pitch.
