Another potential option in the under six grand range could be the demo PT-4 listed in the Brasswind catolog. The price is right and I suspect I would be happiest with the PT-4. Since it is listed as a demo model I would make certain any dings are superficial and that the valves work well. It may also make sense to ask Charlie how he feels about them. The only potential negative in the PT-4 is that the ones listed in the Brasswind are all rotary valve. To me this is a non-issue as long as whatever valves I do have move quickly. Your best bet would be to drive up to the brasswind and try out as many exampes of all three horns as you can and pick whichever one tickles your fancy the most.
