No comments regarding the above, but some of us try to help out old folks. A man in his early 70's came in to my store with a mint 1940's King 2B trombone with a solid silver bell that his parents had purchased for him new. He was speaking rather casually of it, and mentioned that he wanted me to fix the waterkey so he could try to play it some.

Before he left, I educated him to its value, wrote a note all about that and put it in the case for him (so his family would not "yard sell" it if he were to die), and made him promise to discuss it with a responsible relative.
