One of the strengths of the Eb tuba, in my opinion, is how closely it plays to CC tuba. The best Eb tubas I've ever played felt just like a bigger tuba but with a much better high range and better control of the soft dynamics. I would suggest to you that you try using exactly what you currently use on your big horn now with the Eb. You might be surprised at the result. Just keep in mind that if you're looking for a markedly different sound on the Eb than on your big tuba, using the same mouthpiece might not produce the results you want. But generally, I find that Eb tubas don't need a much smaller mouthpiece in the same way that F tubas do. If you use a big mouthpiece on an F, you can run into alot of intonation problems as well as problems centering pitches. Eb tubas tend to have more latitude, in my experience, in being able to function effectively with a larger mouthpiece. Good hunting!
