Sorry for severely over-posting (as usual), but he IS quite an entertainer and a player. I played in a band right after his band at a jazz festival and heard him live, once. I believe that he is based in St. Louis, and that Gene Pokorny, when in the St. Louis Symphony, became a very devout fan. Isn't Red ON Gene's c.d., "Tuba Tracks"?
