Specs: 19 5/8" bell, clear lacquer finish, 5 valves (4 pistons, 1 rotor), and graduated bore, as follows: vlvs 1-3, .787"; 4th vlv, .820"; and 5th vlv, .860".
This is the latest version of the PT-7 and as such, has all the final improvements
to the earlier versions, such as the york-style leadpipe, extra-wide pistons, open-wrap design, and adjustable thumb ring.
History: Purchased new in Nov '99, this horn was selected from a litter of 6 PT-7's.
It has been "garaged" for most of its life, due to a debilitating accident suffered by its owner. I'm selling it because I don't need a horn this big, and you do:)
Characteristics: Mint condition. Quick response, even at soft dynamic levels. Fantastic low register. Dark yet resonant sound throughout the full range.
