I must agree with Joe. The reason these horns keep getting talked about is the sound. I truely love the sound I get from my 14k, it is (as you would expect) especially good for outdoor gigs but I have used it indoors as well. I was playing in a community pit orchestra recently and the director wanted a more focused sound so I dragged out the 14k. He was not amused at first but after giving it a listen he asked me to use the sousa rather than my Miraphone for the show.
