It is obvious that he will not attempt the John Williams on his 4/4 CC tuba. It's likely we're dealing with someone in high school. I recommend the gregson, or the Broughton. They are both in nice places for the CC tuba. RVW is also an option, although playing it lightly on a CC tuba seems like too much work...
