Howdy Randy, Unfortunately the new low brass teacher at MU will not be continuing the annual tradition (he is a trombone player primarily, and would like to do some things in that direction), so perhaps it is time to find a new host for ITD! If you have any connections in your area that would be interested in hosting the event I am sure Sy would help out any way he could. (I believe the Lancaster TubaChristmas will continue however.) BTW, I just performed in a recital at MU (which is my alma mater and Sy was my teacher) honoring Sy and his music. It was a recital all of his music. I performed Fantasia for bass trombone and piano. It was fun to be back on campus again.
