The bronze somewhat acts like a heavy wall mouthpiece. It focuses the sound and really helps with projection. However, it does not make the slots more "locked in" like a heavy wall, which I would rather it didn't. The heavy wall mouthpieces tend to lead to more slide pulling in my own experience and some of them feel a little stuffy. I agree that the Dillon G3 is a great mouthpiece, if you need somthing a little bigger with the pretty much the same feel, try the M1C, it is kinda like an extension of the series.
