There have been several discussions regarding the ?/4 size designations on this BBS. Some of the posters here have commented that the designations are only accurate within the same manufacturer. Is Yamaha's definition of 4/4 the same as MW or Miraphone?
Don't pass up a good horn just because the label isn't what you're looking for. As someone once said...."Try it, you'll like it".
