It's between the size of a bass bone mouthpiece and a tuba mouthpiece. The shank is cut specifically for the horn. Norm Pearson made the mouthpiece, I think. Schilke copied Mr. Pearson's mouthpiece and has made a couple production quality ones, if I remember correctly.
